Wen Tsai Village Community introduction

One. History
Wen Tsai Village is bounded by Ting Chuang Village on the east, Shan Lun Li, Lu Kang Town on the south, the Taiwan Straits (today's Chang Hua Costal Industrial Park ) on the west and Kou Nei Village on the north. Main residence is Chung Chuang Tsai. Wen Tsai used to be low wet lands and used to have many lakes. In the early days, people cultured fish in the lake; therefore, the village got the name of Wen Tsai. Chung Chuang Tsai got its name because it is a village that lies between Wen Tsai and Kou Nei.

Most villagers of Wen Tsai Village share the surname of Huang with Hsien Palace and Pao An Palace being the two main religious belief centers. In addition, there is also a Christian Church. Due to development of Chang Hua Coastal Industrial Park , a man-made port—Wen Tsai port was built in the southwestern part of the village.

Two. Geographic location
East: bounded by Ting Li Village Kan Ting Road with section 1 of the seaway as the borderline.

To the west: bounded by Chang Hua Coastal Induetrial Park with Wen Tsai Road , Neighbour 14 as the borderline.

South: bounded by Shan Lun Li, Lu Kang Town with Po Ya Kou Bridge as the borderline.

North: bounded by Kou Nei Village with Wen Tsai Road as the borderline.

Four. Natural and humanistic environments
The village currently contains 14 neighborhoods, 360 households and 1610 people. Most villagers live on farming and fishing.

Aslo, many of the people in this village are soldiers, public servants, teachers and doctors. And, because it is diffcult to lead a life along the sea, many people have moved to other places.
